Type of Sport in for Diabetes ?

  •  Aerobic
Aerobic can help increase the heart rate as well as train the muscles of the patient. This one sport should ideally be done 30 minutes, 5 times a week. However, if deemed not capable or previous patients rarely exercise, the duration of 5-10 minutes every day could be enough. There are some examples of aerobic exercise that can be done, include brisk walking, swimming or other water sports, biking, and playing tennis.

  •  Weight training (fitness)
Do weight training to build bone and muscle. This exercise can be done 2-3 times a week. This sport is also very good to be able to burn calories, even when you are resting.

  •  Exercise flexibility
Flexibility exercises are also called stretching, which in turn can help limber up your joints and reduce injury while doing other activities. This exercise is usually recommended to be done for 5-10 minutes before aerobic exercise.

What sport should Chosen?
 
As already briefly mentioned in the beginning was that people with diabetes should not arbitrarily choose sport. So what sports should be done by the patient?

So that benefits can be obtained with the maximum without having to experience hypoglycemia, it is advisable for diabetics to exercise combined with aerobic exercise types fitness / weight training, where he will be able to help burn excess fat so the weight will remain intact.

Based on research, a combination of both types of exercise are later also shown to help lower blood sugar levels and maintain stability.

Sports are Worth Avoiding
 
Aerobic and weight training are the two types of exercise is recommended to be done by people with " diabetes ". However, the option exercise, both aerobic and weight training will be done, should be adjusted again to the physical condition and age of the patient.

In this case, if the physical condition of the patient is too weak, it will be better if you choose the type of aerobics and light weight training alone. This is also true for elderly diabetes who certainly will not be physically able to perform activities that are too heavy.

Avoid too, that the movement is too fast sport that requires stamina and extra. This is to reduce the risk of hypoglycemia, which will be more prone to occur if the sport chosen by the patient.
